Once again, rushing into the year, trying to catch up. I've been having a blast the last few months working up at El's Kitchen in Weston. I drop the kids at school, head on up and then leave in time to pick them up in the afternoon. We're working on a new product that we hope to roll out in the Fall. All I can say is that it involves a lot of baking -- my Kitchenaid is living up to its reputation. Can I just skip straight into March and Anna's birthday? I don't remember much else happening before that. She demanded a sleepover with friends so we decorated our own pillowcases, manicured every nail in sight and danced and sang along with all the songs in the High School Musical movie. They didn't drop off till midnight, then were up again before 6. And now Anna has a DS so that she can play along with Jack. Over Spring break I took a couple of days and we went into the city to the Central Park Zoo to see Gus the Polar Bear. Now he's got a girlfriend. It was a perfect day -- other than a crowded train. Sunshine, slight breeze, maneuvering up the Avenues in order to miss the American Girl and Stuff a Bear shops. |
