Welcome to the website of Jim, Jo, Anna, and Jack Burley of Connecticut.  If you ever saw "Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House" (and who didn't), that's where we live.  Not in his dream house, but in that part of the world.  We hope to keep this going for many years to come and that it will act not only as a newsletter for family and friends but as a journal to remind ourselves of what was what and when it was, and as a suitable embarassment to the kids when their friends look at it in a few years.  We'd love to hear from you, so please sign the guestbook.  This can only hold a short sentence so if you'd like to send something longer,  please use the email links at the bottom of this page.

Jim was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is a diehard Steelers fan.  His winters will be spent passing a Sunday afternoon or two down the pub with the other Steelers fanatics, or in his new basement smoking room once he puts the walls up. Jo Hanley was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and spent all the time she could in the West Coast village of Tighnabruaich before leaving Scotland for a three month visit to America in 1977.
